Harvey Girls offers support to young mums and pregnant girls aged 14 to 21 years old. Children are welcome at our sessions and we cover a range of activities such as Child Health and Wellbeing, Craft, Cookery, Body Image, Positive Relationships as well as help and support about parenting.
Teenage pregnancy and becoming a new mum can be hard and Harvey Girls is here to offer support to mums and their children. We are a local organisation based in Burton and Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, Midlands area.
Parenting offers many challenges and is even harder when you are a teenager or young mum. Harvey Girls tailors their weekly sessions around the challenges of parenting and offers a wide range of support to the girls that attend.
We work with several partner agencies to provide the best range of support and guidance to our young mums. Many of these organisationsare invited to the Harvey Girls sessions related to their individual support services.
We are not your conventional Mums group or toddler group as we run sessions on a variety of issues that affect young people today and all of our clients are teenagers or young mums. We offer a non judgemental service where young mums feel welcome and accepted.
